  • 1. When can I use my Unlimited Subscription, A La Carte Minutes, or Party Planning services?

    ChefsLine's culinary telephone hotline and online chat is open from 9 am-1 pm and 5 pm-10 pm eastern standard time. We are also available everyday by appointment - use our appointment scheduler to learn if a chef is available on the day and time your prefer.     2. Can I cancel my Main Course subscription?

    Yes, you can cancel at any time. Please visit Pay Pal, our payment processor, login, and cancel your subscription in your account history. Or, just email us at customerservice@chefsline.com , subject line "unsubscribe." At that point, you will no longer be billed for a monthly subscription.

    3. How often can I call ChefsLine?

    Subscribers. Subscribers can call our toll-free number at 1-800-977-1224 as many times as needed to achieve your homecooking goals. You can also schedule up to 2 appointments or cooking classes in a month. We do have an Acceptable Use Policy in our Terms of Use. Subscribers who use hotline services for more than 120 minutes in one month will be asked to wait until the first day of the next month to access additional hotline consultations.

    A La Carte Minutes. Thirty minutes of cooking instruction is just that. Most calls average 10 minutes so the purchase of thirty minutes will probably give you three consultations on the culinary hotline.

    4. Can I plan a menu using my Main Course subscription?

    Yes. Main Course one-on-one consultations with professional chefs can focus on many cooking issues - techniques, recipes, cuisine, ingredient selection, and menus. Our Party Planning service package is, however, a unique streamlined creative process in which you work one-on-one with a specific chef. Party Planning services also include two scheduled sessions with your chef consultant, recipe development, shopping lists, and enhanced coaching sessions.

    5. Can I call ChefsLine to get a recipe?

    Of course. ChefsLine's goal is to help you have fun cooking - not researching recipes! Talk with ChefsLine and know that you'll be cooking dishes that reflect your mood, your style, what's in your pantry, and your cooking skill level. No time wasted - just cooking and learning!

    6. What is the term for my purchase?

    Your A La Carte minutes are valid for up to one year from the date of purchase. We encourage you to use your Party Planning service within two months of purchase but it is valid for up to one year. Main Course Subscriptions are billed monthly. Your monthly subscription or advance purchase (three or six months) are activated the first time you call the hotline or book a class.

    7. After I sign up through Pay Pal, when and how often will my credit card be billed?

    If you sign up for a monthly subscription, your credit card will be billed on the day you sign up and every month thereafter, on that date.

    8. I would like to give a subscription to ChefsLine or a Party Planning package as a gift. Is this possible?

    Yes! ChefsLine is a great gift for birthdays, weddings, or as a housewarming. If you have your friend's or relative's email address, simply make your purchase through our website and provide us (located at the bottom of the signup screen) with the recipient's email address, first and last name, and a gift message.
