Eric from Newark needs to know: “What is the cooking time for a full turkey that has the bones removed and is stuffed. The stuffing is already cooked. The weight of the turkey was 24 lbs before bones were removed.”

On average Eric, your deboned turkey is 20% or more less in weight, so let’s say 20 pounds. If you have a bathroom scale, you might also consider weighing the bird. In the case of this turkey, we recommend a slightly higher cooking temperature- perhaps 375 degrees. Your 20 pound stuffed turkey will take about 3 hours but you should check it after 2 hours. You might also consider removing any covering and brushing the turkey with a glaze once during the last 20 minutes.
