Julie in Akron added too much garlic salt to her chicken and wants to know how to fix it. The only sure-fire way to repair a dish that’s too salty (or too spicy, for that matter) is to make more if it. In this case if you added more chicken and the other ingredients to your salad without adding more salt that would take care of it. You could also add a couple of pinches of brown sugar to tone down the saltiness without making the dish actually sweet or compromising your flavors. Another alternative for sweetness would be to add some diced apple or raisins but that they would change the character of the salad so use your best judgement and taste a small portion first.  ~ Chef Kevin
