Of course! I’ve used this method for the last several years, and it produces the juiciest turkey. There are many variations, but for a 14 lb turkey, I’d drop the rack to the second from the bottom and roast at 450 for about 1-1/2 to 2 hours, depending on your oven. You’ll need to cover it loosely after about 20-30 minutes, or you’ll burn the skin, and an electronic thermometer in the thigh is a good idea, so you can be warned when it’s ready and not have to open the oven door so often…better than the standard thermometers, IMO. If you want more detailed instructions, try Googling “High heat method turkey” and you’ll get lots of hits.
