   When baking marinated chicken breasts, your time will depend on how much weight you are trying to cook. We recommend baking at 350 degrees uncovered and using a meat thermometer to gauge your cooking progress.

   You will want to drain your chicken from its marinade before baking. There is usually very little reason to try and cook off a chicken marinade (bringing it to a safe temperature, removing fat, reducing into a sauce, etc.) Instead, place your drained chicken breasts on a nonstick baking sheet or lightly grease a jelly roll pan with canola oil or a little butter. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and bake at this temperature. 350 degrees is hot enough for your marinated breasts to have a nice crust but gently enough to give your meat the time it needs to get tender and juicy while baking.

   A boneless breast and will probably take 20-30 minutes total cook time assuming each weigh no more than 3/4 of a pound.

   A bone-in breast averages about 30-40 minutes at a 350 degree oven temperature.

   Keep in mind the best way to check to see if you chicken is done is with a meat thermometer. You will remove your chicken breast from the oven after it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
