A: I am happy to read the words “a little too much.” The very best thing to do is
to add more of everything except for the salt…So maybe instead of one full
recipe that feeds 4 people, you have a recipe and a half that will feed 6 (for
example). If you don’t have the extra ingredients on hand, try thinning it some
with the base of the soup, such as chicken stock. You are trying to thin down
the concentration of the salt.
