It doesn’t need any more salt, pepper or garlic. What other dried spice can I add to it for a better flavor?
Currently I have beef, bay leaves, carrots, onion, celery, green beans and 2 cans of diced tomatoes in there along with the barley.
I want to eat this for dinner and say WOW, what a great soup.

I added a bit of butter, red wine and a smidge of thyme and my soup was great.
