I’m making soup for dinner and it is almost ready. I just tasted it and it is bland.

It doesn’t need any more salt, pepper or garlic. What other dried spice can I add to it for a better flavor?

Currently I have beef, bay leaves, carrots, onion, celery, green beans and 2 cans of diced tomatoes in there along with the barley.

I want to eat this for dinner and say WOW, what a great soup.
