My recipe calls for 1 6oz can of tomato paste and 3 cups of water. I am out of tomato paste. Can I use less water and Tomato Sauce? If so how much of each? Thank you ahead of time for your help.
You should be able to get a comparable product by using one 8oz can of tomato sauce and 1 cup of water, or a 15oz can of tomato sauce with an optional 1/2 cup of water or similar liquid.
