Judi,
Nuts in your baked goods can be replaced by grapenuts, granola crisp or soy nuts.
Light corn syrup can me made by taking 2 cups of white sugar, 3/4 cup water and 1/4 tsp of cream of tartar, dash of salt. Bring mixture to a boil in a heavy pan on medium temperature. Place in refrigerator for two months. (Cooks.com) Other things you can use are barley malt syrup or brown rice syrup. These are wonderful syrups to use when you are baking and want to replace the corn syrup.
