I am looking for ideas for a menu for a “not so formal” wedding. We don’t want a buffet, or have someone plate the food..was thinking of a family style dinner. Any ideas?
Jana,
Smoked turkey is a great entree as is a rib roast. For the right audience cassoulet would be a fun choice.
You could begin with a winter squash soup or hors d’ouevres. And of course there are hundreds of potential sides dishes.
I’d suggest subscribing to Chefsline.com and making an appointment with one of our chefs to discuss a menu. Then we can get an idea of what you have in mind, what your guests might like, what your skill level is, and what sort of facilities you have for cooking.
