Ingredients |

| 1 bottle Spanish white wine 1/3 cup sugar or simple syrup to taste * see note 3/4 cup brandy 1/2 cup Cointreu, Triple Sec, or Orange juice 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice 1 cup sliced apples 1 cup strawberries, sliced into wedges 1/2 cup sliced purple grapes 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, defrosted |

| Mix together the wine, sugar, brandy, orange liquor/juice, lemon juice, and apples in a pitcher. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove blueberries from freezer and place in the fridge. Before serving, add strained blueberries and strawberries and stir. To serve: Place crushed or lots of ice cubes in glasses and top with fruit. Fill glass with enough room to top with clib soda. Or, if self serve, top off pitcher with some club soda and place a wooden spoon in the pitcher. |

| Sugar syrup can be substituted and allow you to control the sweetness of the sangria to taste. To prepare, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Stir in 2 cups of sugar. Heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved. Place 2-3 cinnamon sticks in the pitcher overnight for some nice zing! |
