The Negroni, or the Martinez
Chef: Adam Cutsinger
Food Mood: Elegant
Cuisine: New American/Regional

Description
These two drinks are arguably identical in ingredients, but have separate histories, one Italian and the other American. It is likely they both came into existence
at the turn of the century, circa 1900, so it is possible they are simply different names for the same predecessor of the Martini.

Servings:

Ingredients
1 shot gin
1 shot sweet vermouth (variants have replaced the sweet vermouth with dry vermouth, or used a combination)
1/2 or 1 shot bitters (often Campari, but any will do).
