| mt favorite way to prepare this greek inspired hummus is with a mortar and pestle. If using, mash your garlic, salt, pepper, and 1 Tbsp of oilive oil until becoming smooth. Add garbanzo beans and lemon juice and continue mashing until becoming smooth. Add olive oil and continue mixing (about 2-4 Tbsp of olive oil) or enough to reached desired consistency. Taste and season. Top with a thin layer of oilive oil. Serve with vegetables or toasted pita or as a side dish. truly delicious and easy. | |

| If not using a mortar and pestle, begin with pressed or minced garlic. Using a wooden spoon, mix garlic, lemon, oil, salt and pepper. Add garbanzos and use a potato masher or immersion blender to create the hummus. | |
