| 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted 1 cup granulated sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 large eggs 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/3 cup unsweetened Cocoa 1/4 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup Coconut Flakes, divided use 1/2 cup macadamia nuts, chopped |

Method |

| 1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 8-inch square baking pan. 2. Stir together butter, sugar and vanilla in medium bowl. Add eggs; beat well with spoon. 3. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. 4. Stir in 3/4 cup coconut and macadamia nuts. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. 5. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup coconut over top. 6. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares. |
